Seminarium 2024-10-29
• Human Behaviour and Biohazards in the Livestock Sector – the good and the bad
This seminar focuses on the compliance by stakeholders in the sector to good practices, guidelines, and regulations for biosecurity measures. We will listen to international expertise in the field, examples from the public health sector and several concrete cases from the livestock sector. Which are the challenges to make human behavior adequate for effective biosecurity? How can illegal actors and actions cause biohazards in the animal sourced food chain, in national and inter- national perspectives? These and other related issues will be discussed during the seminar.
Please note that the morning’s presentations and discussion are held in English. After lunch, we continue in Swedish and take part in work done in Sweden.
The seminar is organized by the Committee for Infectious Animal Diseases, KSLA.
